Re: District 6 playoff scenarios
Teams that do not make/enter the playoffs are able to continue having regular season games through the end of the state playoffs. (10 game maximum) outside of scheduling nightmares teams could continue to play

Re: Fall Sports
Manfred, just wondering . Do you have any current high school or college athletes , teachers or coaches in the family ? I have all 4 of them covered . So what you and all the other posters that think we should ignore the guidelines is asking is "Can I put all of my family at risk for your ente...

Re: Appalachian Bowl
Ligonier didn’t lose to Richland last year because they played West Shamokin instead of Westmont. Maybe you're right and it's possible they lose last year no matter what their schedule is. I don't think it's unreasonable to think, considering their closest regular season game since 2015 was a 22 w...

Re: Is it time for 8 man football in PA?
You can’t wait until August to start talking co-op. If you go to one school do you really want to wear another school’s uniform? How does the co-opting school compensate the host school? How does it work for insurance purposes? What about the band and the cheerleaders? No one is saying start a ...

Re: Is it time for 8 man football in PA?
Just an opinion. There may be no correlation, but there might be: Youth football has arrived to the area, like 20 years ago? Maybe we are starting things a little too early? Tackling a little too early? Exposure could be part of the problem. Youth football - trying to teach the game to childre...

Re: Ligonier Valley
PASportsGuy you obviously have a problem with said head coach and that's fine. A lot of people agree with your opinion. Your points are changing due to your dislike however. Yesterday you started that LV is 3 times bigger than everyone else which is just not true. Add to that you call them AAA when...
