Re: BG Rebuilding
On December 20, 2015 I wrote on a thread here: "While I do not believe this BG team was recruited whatsoever, I will say that if any big name players from Altoona, Bellwood, Hollidaysburg, etc. transfer over for next season, I will not be able to continue defending them. Time will tell I suppos...

Re: Class A State Title Thread: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Clairton
CalPreps (with 83% accuracy for PA this season) just released their projection:
Clairton 28 BG 26.
That sounds about right. We're gonna get a good one, folks.

Re: Class A State Title Thread: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Clairton
This game is going to be one for the ages and will quite likely be Déjà vu of the 2014 clash. After seeing both teams play in person, I can say that Lamont Wade is a challenge to stop (offensively & defensively), but so are the monstrous lineman from BG. Wade will break away on one or two for a ...

Chadbourn To Return
Hearing Chadbourn may be making a resurrection this week or in Hershey. Would have to be setting some sort of record for fastest recovery time. Thoughts? Long-term risk?

Re: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Farrell Open Game Thread
The uproar it will cause when BG gets other school's top tier players will be damaging enough to their reputation.

Re: Farrell vs. BG - State 'A' Final
This game could literally be deja vu for the Marauders. This Farrell team is Clairton, but with a massive/quick line. Another comparison: they don't use a kicker. Instead they go for two every time, which is what killed Clairton last December. As stated earlier on here, Farrell always seems to shoot...

Re: Farrell vs. BG - State 'A' Final
BG by 30. Farrell had trouble with a bottom dweller United. Its a fluke they beat berlin. Oh well Private schools will dominate state again Predicting any team by 30 in a state final is awful gutsy. As for the fluke, did you see stats? Total yards: Farrell - 537, Berlin - 174. Berlin's coach even s...
