Re: Penguins vs. Sharks: Stanley Cup Final Thread

Crosby blocks a shot and seals the game. Moments like that that remind you. Greatest player in the game

Re: Penguins vs. Sharks: Stanley Cup Final Thread

Konjo, I never said it was a meaningless stat. You just try to make it an individual stat and it's not. That's what I was getting at. I don't think theoneandonly or any other person who has ever debated this with you would call it meaningless. Meaningless when gauging an individual players performan...

Re: Penguins vs. Sharks: Stanley Cup Final Thread

Aside from this dumbass repetitive argument, I must say I have so much respect for the Sharks. Joe Thornton, Pavelski, Couture, they are all incredible players. I've followed Jones for a while, I always said someday he will be a #1 when he played for the Kings. It's gonna be good tomorrow night!

Re: Penguins vs. Sharks: Stanley Cup Final Thread

In professional sports, in most sport setting in general actually, not a lot separates the best player from the worst. It's a mindset thing, a confidence thing. You've seen it from this team all playoffs, any given night somebody has a career game: Rust, Bonino, Sheary, Kuhnackl, Crosby, Malkin. Wha...

Re: Penguins vs. Sharks: Stanley Cup Final Thread

I have figured out Konjos problem. He probably played in an athletic conference where there was one dominant team who had one good player who's stats were so ridiculously inflated that it wasn't even funny. That player could influence the games outcomes just because his ability compared to everyone ...

Re: Penguins vs. Sharks: Stanley Cup Final Thread

I don't understand why you even argue with him anymore. At this point it's pointless. Konjo, I am going to debunk your theory of plus/minus (for the 30th time) with a personal example. My junior year I had 34 points: 16 goals 18 assists in 20 games my +/- was a -8, my team went 8-9-3. My senior year...

Re: Penguins vs. Sharks: Stanley Cup Final Thread

Bill, wouldn't really call 17 points in 21 games a skid. Especially after coming into the playoffs directly after time missed because of an injury. I will give you the fact that he was without a point (I believe) in the series until last night, but that is largely due to the fact that he receives co...
