Re: LHAC Expansion?
I sort of proposed when the LHAC first expanded to just make a mini WPIAL and have every D5 and D6 team under one banner, and create sections within one league. I still don’t think that’s a bad route. I agreed with you then and I still do now. Grouping schools by size eliminates the concern of smal...

Re: 2024 Boys state playoffs
Just a side note 19/24 East teams remaining in the boys playoffs are private. 3/24 west teams are private. Granted that is considering Berlin as an eastern team due to bracketing. I’m sure there are others as well.

Re: 2024 Girls state playoffs
NB was down 1 to defending state champs entering the 4th. Heck of a game for them. Berlin, Williamsburg, BG, and Union is a pretty stacked half of the bracket. Assuming the survivor of that will win the A title.

PIAA Championships
Santamaria from Tussey and Bracken from United both big upsets over NE regional champs to make the quarters. The rest seemed to go as expected for local kids in the first two rounds. Eion Snider from NB had some bad luck with the bracket. The SE regional runner up was upset in his bracket and fell t...
Re: Hershey
D7 has 44 AA schools. D6 has 27. D5 has 10. I say just combine 5 and 6 into 1 tournament. Take top 8 from both tournaments for a 16 man bracket. When D5 is good we can get 3 or even maybe 4 through in particular weights. Where we are weak we may only get 2 in. Heavyweight this year is a prime exampl...

Re: 2024 Boys state playoffs
Where did the 6'11" kid go? I looked at their roster a few weeks back and realized he wasn't there.

Re: District 5 AA
HOF was good. Paxton boys from Berlin, Snyder boys from Hyndman, Lascari and Wiltrout from NS, Wade Grimes family accepted for him as did Dave Musselmans family which was cool. Droz got in as a coach. Brandon Weyant from Bedford. There were 2 more that I can’t recall. As for the COY I’m assuming it ...

Re: 2023-2024 PIAA 2A TEAM WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP
I think Coach Deputy’s facial expressions and reaction in the video I saw says he knew what was happening, wasn’t involved, and was upset about it. I don’t often stand up for CR or their coaches but I will here.

Re: Forest Hills/PO
PO's only win this season came against winless Curwensville. Tough season for them and the level of competition in the LHAC for basketball is relentless. You have to be pretty good to compete night in and night out.
