Re: Congratulations to:
Why is this is a post on a d5 forum. Not sure when we started posting about AD’s getting jobs. Maybe this AD can stop the bullying and stuff going on at that school. That would be a thread worth starting. Go ahead and start that thread. Maybe all the miserable pricks like yourself can make that the...

Re: Buc Fever
I don't think the Pirates really need Trevor Bauer. It would just give the FO an excuse to keep Skenes in Indy until the All-Star break. The pirates seem very satisfied with the approach of drafting a ton of big young arms (Chandler, Skenes, Jones, Solometo, Priester, Harrington) and building the to...

Re: Northern Bedford vs Steelton Highspire
If a school has to play their football games on the baseball field, there is absolutely no reason a neutral site playoff game should be played there Maybe next time just do a simple google image search before spewing off non-sense. CK has a multipurpose turf stadium that can support a multitude of ...

Re: 20 years of Bleacher Coaches
I joined 12/7/04 and have enjoyed visiting this site from time to time since. I really enjoyed when the College/Pro Sports forum was rocking with some very good local college sports banter. I've seen a lot of people come and go but many of you I have seen consistently pop up from time to time over t...

Re: Sanders to Colorado
I think is way more of an undertaking than people realize. Colorado is one of the worst power 5 programs in the country right now. At a place like Jackson State, you can bring in 2-3 top end players and make a huge dent. At Colorado, they need to improve at about 50-60 scholarship positions to make ...

Re: Rank these 4
After last night, I’d say Penn Cambria Bedford Richland Ridge And I think Central may be better than Ridge Well the one team that has played 4 of those 5 is Forest Hills. CR 42 - FH 19 Richland 26 - FH 23 Bedford 18 - FH 7 Central 39 - FH 16 Far from an exact science but FH is the most common oppon...

Re: PIAA approves NIL for High School players.
Learning your value, in which most cases for high school athletes is nothing for the skills they offer at that level, is a valuable lesson too. Bunch of people getting upset about nothing. The big time programs already offer $60,000+ a year scholarships to big time athletes. They already have a dist...

Re: PIAA approves NIL for High School players.
This doesn't really have any "bad" effects to high school athletics in Central PA. I think the top 1% of high school athletics (IMG Academy, St Aquinas, Mater Dai, St Frances Academy, etc.) are about to get very ugly but they were already pretty close to there already. I just don't see NIL...

Re: USC & UCLA to BIG10 spells doom for Pitt
2016 team beat 2 P5 conference championship teams and lost on the road by a TD to #11 Oklahoma State. Playing those 3 teams I'm sure didn't help the defensive statistics.
2021 team beat #14 Clemson and #15 Georgia Tech.
I honestly think that 2016 team would beat last year's team.

Re: USC & UCLA to BIG10 spells doom for Pitt
I don't think we can look at it with only a "last 10 years" outlook. Alabama and Ohio State are on quite a run. But 10 years from now, they could be Nebraska and Tennessee. 50 years from now they might be going through another cycle of dominating. The 1990s were dominated by Florida State ...
