Re: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Farrell Open Game Thread
Give credit where credit is due! 32-0 with back to back state titles! And next season won't be much different! Dominating everyone! They are only pulling from a small area! This team would have won a AA title too and competed with AAA! Small area? Altoona High is one of the bigger "AAAA" ...

Re: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Farrell Open Game Thread
Its a simple story. When an "A" school gets players from "AAAA" they should move up.

Re: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Farrell Open Game Thread
If Guilfoyle cheated, there would be allegations against it. They've done everything within the rules as far as any of us knows. So they got a kid from Altoona? What's the story with it? Under the current rules in this state, what rule was broken? Why didn't Altoona challenge it? You know crimson t...

Re: Farrell vs. BG - State 'A' Final
When you write to your representatives, don't forget to mention how charter/cyber schools get all the state funding per student that a public school gets, but without having to to provide any documentation of how they spend the money. Charter schools: the next great way to rob the current generatio...

Re: Farrell vs. BG - State 'A' Final
So when a team like BG who accepted 2 linemen this year from "AAAA" Altoona this year goes to the "A" state title game for the second year in a row everyone should just quietly smile and say nothing? Yea right! As long as these practices continue to happen, which by the way viol...

Re: Farrell vs. BG - State 'A' Final
Just thought I would comment here. I think BG will win the title again. They shouldn't be in "A" ball though! They have no boundaries and had 2 linemen transfer from "AAAA" Altoona this year! Hollow victory from where I am standing. As far as the LHAC being so much better than th...

Re: PIAA State Meet "AA"
The only omission I see roadie is possibly Zane Baker of Bedford in the 400. He is about a half second off a top 8 seed time. It would be interesting if Jake Miksich medals in the triple jump for district 5 . That would make 5 consecutive years that district 5 had a medalist in the boys event.

Re: Chestnut Ridge
If you want to talk girls basketball, I guess we would talk about the BG Girls....they've done more than any D5 team has maybe ever. We can go back to Westmonts back to back state championship appearances. Bishop McCort girls have also made plenty of deep runs. These all in the past 10 years....or ...

Re: Chestnut Ridge
Let me know when you guys want to talk baseball, basketball or football. I'm not going to continually have a mindless debate about sports the majority of people on here don't care about. Like I said in my initial post on this thread that pertained to CR winning D5 in multiple sports. Let CR in Dist...
