Re: Camp Hill vs. BG (Quarterfinals)

[sub]I don't think this will be much of a game at all in the second half. Last year CH started fast but they couldn't stop BG who was so much bigger than them. I expect a very similar result this year. How is CH going to stop BG and their overwhelming size in the OL & DL? You are talking about a...

Re: Best area boys players

Yes, the list was only for LHAC players. If I was including all of D-6 it would something like the following: Trude WB- (who is being recruited by D-3 schools, saw a few of them at the Bldg 2 fall league) Davis- BA(who is also being recruited, not sure how your sources missed that) Hinton- Ferndale ...

Re: Best area boys players

Heiple- Somerset Barnes- Somerset Conahan- BM Swatsworth- BC Kutchman- Richland I only left Updyke of J'town off because he was injured last year and want to see what he looks like this year. Could also go with Vilet of WH or Holsinger of CC. Is it any wonder Section 2 is going to be a dogfight ever...

Re: LHAC Coach of The Year

BG did get one 300# lineman transfer in from Altoona. The rest of their OL & DL are all kids who came up through the BG system. There is no doubt that the player they got from Altoona is helping them this year.

Re: D6 AA Top 5 teams

IMHO District 6 AA will be one of the most fascinating races in the last few years. I saw West Branch & Bellwood this summer at the H'burg league and both return a lot of good, experienced players. You just wonder how much their league will prepare them for the playoffs (although it didn't seem ...

Re: Penn State vs #1 Ohio State

I did mean both the kicker and the punter. I'm hoping that Nordin sticks with his commitment, especially after announcing his verbal with that over the top video he had done. Not to mention the fact that he has to look at the PSU kicking situation and realize he steps right in and starts on day one....

Re: Penn State vs #1 Ohio State

I agree with what Crimson said above, even if you make the FG it's still a 2 score game so I would have done the same thing. The other thing to consider is the fact the PSU has the worst kicking game in the country. The FG kicking is inconsistent at best but the punting game is one that a high schoo...

Re: Ending of the Michigan game

The end of the Auburn/Alabama or Cal/Stanford is
the only ones that come to mind. I honestly feel for the UM punter. To borrow a line from Verne Lundquist, "he's got to be the sickest man in America".

Re: Penn State vs #1 Ohio State

1. While I hoped PSU would be 6-0 at this point in the season I certainly thought it was possible they would drop a game at this point in the season. 2. A win is a win. Ask OSU, TCU (winning on a tipped pass on virtually the last play of the game, Iowa (beating Pitt on a 57 yard FG), BYU (winning on...

Re: Crazy Parents???

What is wrong with people? Seriously. As a parent can't you comprehend how misguided this is. No wonder high school level sports is having trouble drawing coaches and officials.
