Many schools have a shortage of capable linemen. Eight man football could solve more than one problem. In my opinion we just have too many kids that do nothing these days especially in the lower income districts. Perhaps they are too busy running what passes for a household. Actually Aliquippa played some overmatched team from district 9. Seeing Sean Gilbert passrushing against a 5'5" 130 pound guard was quite alarming.

Those whining about Bellwood being the biggest school in Class A would appear to disagree with you.
