What is the best sporting event you ever attended?

Post by Coach »

I've been to a lot of great things and will have a tough time picking.

Steelers AFC Championship win

Pirates vs Reds wild card game 2013

Penn State vs Michigan 2013

Northern Bedford vs Mo Valley 1995

Northern Bedford vs Everett 2013

Wilmington vs West Catholic 2008 state championship

Tussey Mountain vs Northern Bedford basketball game at TM 97-98 season. (Aaron Kagarise game winning 3)

I don't even know if I want to pick.

The wild card game against the Reds. It was one of those games you had to be there to explain it to other people what it was like. That put to shame the NFL and NHL playoff I've been to. Pure electricity.

Another great game I nearly attended but I missed was the Syracuse-UConn 6 overtime game in the Big East Tournament. What happened was Pitt was just knocked out at the 7:00 game and me and my buddy knew we would be heading home the next morning so we wanted to spend some time in the city and walk around for a few hours, so we bailed on the game. Of course it turned out to be one of the best college basketball games ever.
