Has anyone seen over/under totals for MLB teams? Time is running out to get to Vegas to wager though!

Yes, the Nats, Mets, Cubs, Giants, Dodgers, and Cards have comparable threats at the 1 and 2 spot in the rotation. Most people would put Liriano and Cole right there with any of those combinations. I think all of those teams including the Pirates have an argument for the best 1-2 punch.

If you don't think Mercer is a formidable big league SS, then you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Therefore, I will move on with this conversation.

Did Mercer not lose his starting job with the Pirates last season?

so you can't have two top SS's on the same team? Which ever starts is good, but the other must suck? I'm just gonna say it....you're wrong. Baseball is a very streaky sport. The way Kang was knocking the cover off the ball, they weren't going to take him out.

I loved Walker and in fact he's my sons favorite player but he was a liability in the field. Bottom 5 in defensive efficiency. Harrison may not hit 15-20 homers but he will hit for a better average, play better defense and be a better base runner.

How many games did Walker miss the last 3 or 4 years due to his back? I can think of several trips to the DL for back issues. That's not going to improve as he gets older.

I loved Walker too but the good organizations know when to move on even with the fan favorites.
