Rank the NFL Starting Quarterbacks

Post by Crimson's Ghost »

Just for fun, make your own rankings of the best starting QB's in the NFL.  Just something to pass the time until the actual games start.  I wouldn't say this is a legacy ranking, but more so who you think will have the best seasons/who will lead their team to greater success.

AFC East
Tyrod Taylor Buff // Ryan Tannehill MIA // Ryan Fitzpatrick NYJ // Tom Brady NE
AFC North
Joe Flacco  Bal // Andy Dalton Cin // Robert Griffin III Clev // Ben Roethlisberger Pit
AFC South
Brock Osweiler Hou // Andrew Luck Ind // Blake Bortles Jack // Marcus Mariota Ten
AFC West
Mark Sanchez Den // Alex Smith KC // Derek Carr OAK // Phillip Rivers SD

NFC East
Tony Romo Dal // Eli Manning NYG // Sam Bradford PHI // Kirk Cousins WSH
NFC North
Jay Cutler CHI // Matthew Stafford Det // Aaron Rodgers GB // Teddy Bridgewater Min
NFC South
Matt Ryan ATL // Cam Newton Car // Drew Brees NO // Jameis Winston TB
NFC West
Carson Palmer ARI // Case Keenum STL // Blaine Gabbert SF // Russell Wilson SEA

***I would say San Francisco, St. Louis Philadelphia, and Denver are somewhat unsettled.  Obviously Wentz in Philly, Goff fro the Rams, and Lynch for Denver are first round rookies that may eventually start, but it doesn't seem like it'll be in week one.  Kapernick could still win the SF job I suppose as well.

You say starting QBs. That number 2 guy on your list is not a current starting QB. He is a SUSPENDED qb!!!!

I really like Bortles and Carr, think they can become really good QB's in their career. Something Jacksonville and Oakland desperately could use.

Drew Brees will pass Dan Marino for third all-time in NFL passing yards this season. He's one of my all-time favorites.  Somehow I feel he goes underappreciated for a future hall of famer.

If brees is the most underappreciated then the qb the chargers kept, rivers, is the most over appreciated qb in this bunch. For a guy who has really done a bunch of nothing people love to put him top 10
