Alex Hoenstine's four touchdown game keyed a convincing win over 5A Hollidaysburg. The Scarlet Dragons will stay on the big stage in week one, with Tyrone coming to Roaring Spring. It will be a hyped atmosphere, with big Mountain League and District 6 implications on the line.

2. Juniata  1-0   Defeated Susquenita 71-0   Next up: @ Williams Valley   Last: #2
Juniata made a statement with an easy 71-0 win to open the 2016 campaign. The Indians used over 400 yards of offense and 4 passing touchdowns from senior Tyler Clark in the win.  They will travel to 1-0 Williams Valley this weekend.

3. Tyrone 1-0  Defeated Bellwood-Antis 15-12  Next up: @ Central   Last: #3
Tyrone outlasted Bellwood-Antis to secure their fourth straight win in the Backyard Brawl series.  They will have to keep their emotions in check, with another huge game in week one. They will travel to Central on Friday in a huge Mountain League showdown.

4. Huntingdon 1-0 Defeated Mt. Union 29-15  Next up: Bellefonte   Last: #4
Huntingdon benefitted from a 100+ rushing yard game and 3 rushing touchdowns from Ian Border to take down rival Mt. Union in their opening game. The Bearcats will look to make it to 2-0 with Bellefonte coming to town.

5. Bald Eagle Area 1-0 Defeated Saint Joseph's Academy 54-0  Next up: @ Philipsburg-Osceola Last: Not Ranked
Bald Eagle slips into the rankings with a win and a Forest Hills loss. It's hard to say what the Bald Eagles really have, but they handled Saint Joe's with ease. They have a chance to get to 2-0 with a winnable game at Philipsburg this weekend.
