Week Two District Six Class A Power Rankings

Post by Crimson's Ghost »

1. Bishop Guilfoyle 2-0  Defeated Westmont 35-7  Next up @ Bishop McCort  Last week: #1
Bishop Guilfoyle beat Westmont 35-7 in a grind of a game.  The Marauders are definitely seeing everyone's best shot these days, and while they have won both games by multiple touchdowns, they haven't been easy wins either. They'll see an improved Bishop McCort team on Friday.

2. Homer Center 2-0 Defeated Marion Center 33-0   Next up: Saltsburg  Last week: #2
The Wildcats mvoed to 2-0 on the year with an easy 33-0 win over Marion Center.  Homer will now travel to Saltsburg this week. The Trojans were handled by Ligonier last week by a score of 68-0, so Homer Center should be able handle business this week and get to 3-0 before the schedule really picks up after that.

3. Moshannon Valley 2-0 Defeated Southern Huntingdon 35-7   Next up: @ Everett Last week: #4
Moshannon Valley rolled to an easy win over Southern Huntingdon last week. This Moshannon Valley program has now won 18 straight regular season games dating back to 2014.  They will look to make it 19 against a 1-1 Everett team this weekend.

4. Northern Cambria 2-0  Defeated United 20-13   Next up: Ligonier Valley   Last week: #5
Northern Cambria survived a tough test from an improved United team.  The Colts are now 2-0 and welcome Heritage Conference favorite Ligonier to town on Friday. It should be a pretty hyped atmosphere with two of the best teams in the league squaring off for first place early in the year

5. Williamsburg  2-0  Defeated Claysburg-Kimmel 46-7   Next up: @ Southern Huntingdon  Last week: unranked
Williamsburg is just dominating through two weeks this season. The powerful Blue Pirates' offense boasts one powerful running game that is averaging 327 yards a contest. They already have three rushers over the 100 yard mark on the season led by Rashadd Knorr's 182 yards.
