College Hoops 11/28-12/4
Pitt 5-1 KenPom: #56
Tuesday: @ Maryland 7:00 ESPN2
Friday: Duquesne 7:00
Pitt took care of business against two mid-major opponents last week to improve to 5-1. It won't be quite as easy this week with a trip to Maryland. The Terps feature Melo Trimble, one of the top guards in the country. Pitt will have a tough time slowing him down, and matching up defensively. Still, it'll be a good test. It's an opportunity for a big win. Duquesne on Friday won't be as difficult, but it won't be a walk in the park. It is a "rivalry" and the game is at the PPG Paints Arena.
Penn State 4-3
Tuesday: Georgia Tech 7:00 ESPNU
Saturday: Wright State 6:00
Penn State scored an impressive win on the road against a pretty decent George Washington team. It was the most impressive Penn State victory to date. They welcome Georgia Tech to the BJC this week in the ACC/B1G challenge. Tech is 4-1, but one of the worst teams in the ACC, Penn State should get a win there.
Duquesne 3-4 KenPom: 198
Wednesday: UMBC 7:00
Friday: Pitt 7:00
Duquesne went 1-1 this past week, with a win over Cleveland State. The Dukes have a big showdown with Pitt Friday at the PPG Paints Arena.
Saint Francis 3-2 KenPom: 313
Wednesday: @NJIT 7:00
Saturday: Binghamton 7:00
The Red Flash have won three in a row. They play a tough NJIT team on the road Wednesday.

Monday: Minnesota at Florida State 7:00 ESPNU
Minnesota is 6-0, FSU is 5-1 should be a good one. The 'Noles have a good freshman in Jonathan Isaac.
Tuesday: Syracuse at Wisconsin 7:30 ESPN
Two ranked teams. One of the more compelling ACC/Big Ten challenge games out there.
Wednesday: North Carolina at Indiana 9:15 ESPN
Two top ten teams, top blue-blood teams, two final four contenders.
Thursday: Cincinnati at Iowa State 9:00 ESPN
Two tournament teams with identical 5-1 records. Big game for both sides.
Friday: Duquesne vs. Pitt 7:00
Slim pickings on a Friday night. The City Game may be the best one.
Saturday: UCLA at Kentucky 12:30 CBS
HUGE game. On championship Saturday for college football, this one is worth checking out. UCLA is undefeated and has some good young players. Kentucky is Kentucky. Enough said.

Re: College Hoops 11/28-12/4
Nice win by Pitt tonight, beating an undefeated Maryland team by 14 points on the road. Should be a good resume builder come March. Need to take care of business on Friday against Duquesne to move to 7-1.
Re: College Hoops 11/28-12/4
Rough 3 days for the Big Ten. The ACC took this year's Challenge 9-5, for their first outright championship since 2008.

I wasn't counting on the ACC's top ranked team, UNC, to be one of those losses.
