A concerning factor for Ligonier against Westmont is a freshman point guard going against Ian Valente. Valente has been playing really well lately and really makes Westmont go.

All 4 AAA semi finalists move to the PIAA, I think. So if LV beats BA/CH, even if they lose to Westmont they will have 2 more games - 6-3/6-4 game and PIAA first round.

That's correct, D6 AA and AAA get four state tournament bids.

A gets 3, AAAA gets 2, AAAAA gets 1, AAAAAA gets 2 out of their subregion with Districts 8 and 10.

LV is going to play BA. BA is down but Gewert usually has his teams ready to play. I wouldn't be surprised to see LV go down.

I saw the PG, Mike Marinchak, @ the UPJ tourney.  To me, he was one of the best kids on the floor.  Valente won't scare him.  If Marrek Paola hadn't gotten 3 quick fouls on him early, that tournament could've been theirs.  W/O Colin Smith.
It ain't over until it's over.

You guys are delusional! They would of won the tournament?? They didn't even win the consolation game lol. 2nd this idea that because the games were played at the end of December don't matter because LV got better since then, well so did everyone else. Just so you know everyone practices throughout the year not just LV lol.

Anyone have insight on when the 1st round games will happen for A, AA, and AAA? I'm thinking either Monday, February 20th or Tuesday, February 21st.

Yeah Monday and Tuesday and then they'll have a scheduled day off on Wednesday in case of a snow day.  Second round on Thursday/Friday.

Because of weekend conference championship games I would think they would play Wednesday.
