New Coaching Opening

Heard at a baseball game yesterday that Ferndale is opening their Boys Varsity Basketball job to the public.  Not a bad job to take.

Why would they want to get rid of Durham?

Maybe he took a better offer? Or the school just opens the bids as routine.

Interesting, I expected Kurt Hoffman to get the Johnstown job. They didn't pick Durham last time and I heard there were some hurt feelings there.

Hoffman is staying as girls coach I guess time has healed old wounds

If you have a good coach why post the job every year.  We had a similar situation at BC and the school gave Cosie a 10 year deal.

Ferndale's been the best they've been in recent memory under Durham. Not sure why' they would ever open his job, even if it is school policy.

Don't know the Coach, but do follow results produced by teams. Lets not kid ourselves here, ANY team has the success they have and earn, because of the core of athletes they have any given season. Ferndale has had some stud basketballers the past few years, and it showed. W/o these studs, how good would Durham have been? You can't make chicken salad out of chicken........
