Can't believe nobody wants to talk about the new season after a full week of games. Who are the early leaders, surprises, or who already is in for a long year?

Lagy Rangers are 3-0. 3 mercy wins, 14-0, 15-0, and 14-4. Led by N.C.State recruit shortstop and leadoff hitter Megan Gould. She also runs sprints and relays in the girls' track meets.

# 6 player, first to spell Bard or Casey Gallaher. Broke her wrist in fall soccer end of season, missed first half of hoops season. Was homecoming queen, and snowball ? queen, paired up with her (king) boyfriend Justin Gdula, the Qb. Some have it all, it seems.

It wasn't enough yesterday, as Richland beat FH behind Kormanik's pitching and defense. Richland seems solid this year.

Update on Megan Gould: It now appears she is going to St. Francis to run sprints in track. I'm sure a certain quarterback recruit had absolutely nothing to do with the decision.

Where are the ICC/SHL reports for this new season? I have seen Tussey, Forbes, Everett, SF, Hyndman,NBC, Claysburg, and Ridge. My observations: Ridge is the best hitting team I've seen. The Claar girl from CK is the most impressive pitcher I've seen. Lots of good teams, seems very even competition this year. Anybody want to comment??

I know they lost to Fannett-Metal and I think it is their only loss so far. Maybe 7-1 or 8-1. That would be my guess.
