Truly awesome in this day and age. No transfers, or raiding other nearby schools under the guise of a charter or religious group, I hope. Way to go Lady Tigers ( is that tigresses?)

Central lost 15 to 5 in 5 innings. End of the Cinderella run. Good job girls.

The Tiger story is truly amazing!! To be able to do what they have done so far is wonderful. They are girls born and raised in a small school district. They have worked hard and truly deserve their accomplishments. Here's hoping they continue to slay the giants and bring a state title to the rural PA town of Willow Hill. Let's hope Southern Columbia is not as good as their football team!! Sorry to see Central's run come to an end!! They didn't play too well. Give credit to Neshannock, they forced the Dragons to make numerous mistakes. Great to see both games live at SFU and to see the support from both communities. Lucky for both teams that the non-public schools don't concentrate their attention to softball like they do basketball. F-M did have to get past Elk County Catholic, but Central faced all publics.
