Summer Football
Thank god for the All Star Games coming up in 2 weeks. Football in shorts just isn't the same as the pads popping.

The "boys of summer" play baseball, not football.
It ain't over until it's over.

To each his own Manfred. That's why its the Nation Pass Time, it definitely passes the time until something else comes along.
I can do track, basketball, football, hockey, wrestling and even tennis. Watching baseball and golf is a good nap. Now playing is a different story

Re: Summer Football
Central really held their own this weekend at the Penn State 7 on 7 tournament against some tough competition. Dragons went 5-3 and finished 10th out of 40+ teams and were one of the smaller schools entered. Field included schools from the WPIAL, Harrisburg, MD, WV and one from FL.
You play to win the game!!!

Anyone know when the 7 on 7 @ saint Francis is? Usually has some good competition from all around the area.

Re: Summer Football
Central opened up the tournament at PSU with a loss to Calvert Hall from Baltimore. Calvert Hall opens up their regular season with a road game at Gonzaga, WA!
The Dragons had some impressive wins over Central Valley and Harrisburg High. I know it's not the same as lining up on a Friday night but they got in some good work against some really good football teams/athletes. Clairton and South Fayette also had teams in the tournament but we didn't face either of them.

Gonazaga is a private school in DC, not Washington state. Steubenville (OH) has played them a few times.DragonsDoExist wrote:Central opened up the tournament at PSU with a loss to Calvert Hall from Baltimore. Calvert Hall opens up their regular season with a road game at Gonzaga, WA!
