Thank you. According to Konjo though, it's ONLY the statistic that matters, not the reasons or explanation for the stats.

El-Moldo wrote: August 11th, 2020, 9:48 pm How about deaths per cases? As of August 11, the U.S. has had 5,224,867 cases and 166,456 deaths. That is a 3.1% death rate of deaths/number of cases. Globally there has been 20,196,850 cases, and 738,910 deaths. THAT death rate is 3.66% of deaths/number of cases. This puts the U.S. death rate based on number of cases BELOW the world average at this point. Aren't statistics fun.
Well when you have a poor testing system, comparing the known cases to death rate is not as accurate as per capita. The Cambria County coroner expressed a few months ago that covid deaths were probably underreported because why waste a scarce test on a dead person?

Ironically, it very well could be that the death rate may be lower than thought, but efforts to suppress and undermine widespread testing in the US makes that impossible to know for sure.

Bet they didn't do that in South Korea.
Hey i think those govs should be called out too.

But death per cases is nice.... if we didnt have so so many cases. We can blame testing i guess but then it doesnt match up with the added positive tests/ %pos rates to death rates increasing with it too.

People can try to spin it any way they can to downplay covid in the US but no matter what the spins still look worse than some of the other countries out there that straight up handled it better.

Schools should start up fencing programs. 1-on-1, full body protection, and if something moves, stab it!

The local sports page said they are seeking to Co-op with Conemaugh Valley. Why they don't just both be absorbed into JHS is beyond me.

Conemaugh Valley borders Forest Hills. Perhaps they should absorb them.
