Just got word that Clearfield vs Tyrone has been cancelled due to a positive COVID test. Any others? Wondering how this will snowball through the Mt League for the rest of the season

Right now you'd have to look at Penns Valley since they played them. If they are all good then he caught it after or just didn't spread it. Now my question is does this mean they can't practice for 2 weeks or if everyone else is clear they can?

I think the way it works is that anyone that came in to direct contact with that person will have to quarantine for 14 days. So there is a good possibility that anyone who practiced with that person will not be allowed at school or at practices. The PA Dept. of Health will do contact tracing and will determine who has to quarantine and who doesn't.

Close contact is within 6 feet for 15 consecutive minutes. That doesn’t happen in football. I also was led to believe close contacts go back 48 hours....not a full week....??

Those schools are all within what, 25 miles or so of the Centre Co. Covid Cauldron? This thing will ripple through the other schools eventually.
