Back to the JV issue...when to use them...I am on the side of later in the game than early....
Their time to shine is Monday night in a lot of cases ...or the following year..
(If no JV is scheduled between the 2 schools then yeah, pull them earlier..)
Always felt the JV game is Monday..
(NO I am not a coach, just throwing out my opinion)...Do I get bashed now?

I agree that the JV game is Monday, and there should be no pressure for the varsity coach to get those guys into the varsity game. But I watched a game online where both teams used almost all of their players both ways, the game was over by half, and yet by the 4th quarter, one team had never removed their first string, while the other kept re-inserting their starters whenever there was some 'threat' of something 'bad' happening. No reason for either team to risk injury to tired two-way starters to either break or preserve a shut-out, or settle an old score, or whatever.

Coach be always felt like the starters deserve the play as much as a game as possible, that being said Ligonier Valley is one of the earliest teams to pull starters with significant leads

Mr. Tubmill, how does a team go from a 3-3 score to a 14-3 score? 6, then 2 conversion, then another FG? Just curious. EDIT: Ch. 6 sports reported the score as the other way, W. Beaver 14, Liggy 3.
It ain't over until it's over.
