That is what I thought we should do, but I lost that one. But all the PIAA did was run out the clock hoping Wolf would make the decision for them. When that didn't happen, Lombardi plan was to just plow ahead, pretend that this season would be normal, and hope for the best. He even stated that he didn't think football would complete a season but offered absolutely nothing else. An empty chair could have done just as well.

I'm not saying that anybody can envision what's going to happen and plan for it precisely, but Lombardi literally did nothing. And now we have a mess of a playoff format, confusion about what schools should do to mitigate outbreaks, and frustration as things seem to be getting progessively worse with nobody taking charge and leading. I know it seems to be normalized that our leaders take no responsibility for the things that happen under their watch, but Lombardi needs to own this.

We have five weeks of football that we wouldn’t have had otherwise. That was all we could have reasonably expected. Thank you to all who made it possible.

In hindsight the biggest mistake was delaying the season two weeks.

100% agree. 2 weeks where kids weren’t in school so more limited risk of exposure. And this would have been week 8 already.

Looks like CV has the fourth spot in 6-A and another week off before hosting BG the following week.

Should CV play Berlin next week to tune up?

CV is the 4th seed but they won't be playing BG, BG is under quarantine through the first round of the D6 play-offs. Their 14 days ends on Sunday Oct 25, after the first round has been played.


If mccort tonight wins CV will play the winner JV and Glendale, If McCort losses tonight CV plays the winner of JV and McCort.

Oh. So BG is out.

I think CV should definitely play Berlin next week as they are in the same conference and were scheduled to play in Week nine.

Bg alum is covering cost to have entire team tested and they may even be quarantined at hotel, but they are going to try to play
