Windber applied to LHAC
Re: Tyrone and Windber
I think playing by classification could be a good thing too. Especially with the newer co-ops and AA teams forming. The single A teams that usually have 22-27 players are really going to struggle as the other teams like them are going toward co-ops. In the last few years Ferndale, Shade, and CV all became programs that don’t exist as a solo program any more. Blairsville and Saltsburg combined. How long are some of these programs with 25 kids going to keep kids interested if the teams they had a shot against are now gone or AA?

Windber applied to the ICC

Add to my last post (off topic).
Williamsburg is now part of Juniata Valley for football. Now a team like Glendale (also has small numbers) loses Williamsburg on the schedule and JV becomes that much tougher to beat. These football mergers will prove to be tough on other small schools.

It is but if these small schools are still fielding teams they have to play someone.

D6 needs to let go of the past and mirror the WPIAL system which not only matches up schools by classification but allows for traditional rivals to play.
