Could district 6 have the leading passer and rusher in the state at the end of the regular season?

Hoenstine from Central and Crawley from Forest Hills are sitting high on both lists respectively.

Going to call it now , Justin keeps his foot on the gas and allows Crawley to go for 400 on a terribly weak Johnstown team next week. Might be 5 - 5 but we had the number one rusher in the PIAA. Reminds me of the 2010 CH team that when 1 -9 and he was bragging about having one of the top ranked qbs and wr in the state. Then they fired him

Crawley will have nearly 200 by halftime. Reset the school record held by Nick Dudukovich. Then Toth, Danel, and the Caddy will be turned loose. Running clock by the end of the 3rd, only because the Rangers will have gone conservative by then. Watch out for frustrations from the other side.

Hoenstine was 12-14 for 279 yards and 7 TDs all in the first half last night. On the season he now sits at 44 TDs and 2 INTs for 2586 yards.

Way to go Jeff. Crawley is at 2083 yards, 27 TD's, 8-2 pt. conversions, and after it was 50-0, was allowed to attempt a DROP KICK for the XP. It would have cleared the crossbar, but hit the bottom of the right upright. I ask any of you, WHEN was the last time you saw that, in HS or college? Also, the Rangers took a kneeldown after their last TD, and after a first and goal from the 3 with a min. left, chose to take knees.

Ashton Walk freshman for Tyrone went over the 1000 yard mark passing last night. He has only started 3 games. Kid is special. He is the grandson of Tom Miller who played qb at Tyrone and Colorado State and coached Tyrone in the late 80s early 90s.

Would love to see a Tyrone/Central matchup to keep the rivalry alive!

Kudos to the Rangers for winning with class. Penn Cambria should take notes…
