District 6 teams with no football championships
Re: District 6 teams with no football championships
No one wants credit for "near wins". The cupboard has been kinda bare the last few years at FH. Finally making it to 5-5 and a playoff appearance, it just shows how CLOSE FH was to an even Bigger season.

You could play this with any team really. CC had to play the easier half of their season without Hobbs Dill, their best offensive and player who is very comparable to Damon Crawley. Particularly would have liked to see them have Dill against BG and Penn Cambria. Forest Hills also didn’t have to play Richland in the regular season, but may get their chance in 2 weeks. I think Forest Hills had a competitive team, but they would have struggled without Crawley.

IF, the biggest word in the English language.

Of that, Sir, there is no doubt. Not being able to tackle Dill along the sideline, and throwing a pick 6 to him was the difference in that game.CCDevil2012 wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2021, 7:51 pmYou could play this with any team really. Was a great high school football game to watch, neither team really had an answer and it came down to last possession, the onside kick made a difference too. I think CC only had 5 total offensive possessions that game, one of which was late in the game and they went for it on 4th down deep in Ranger territory to seal the win but didn’t convertManfred wrote: ↑November 4th, 2021, 9:30 amOf that, Sir, there is no doubt. Agreed. And yet FH made the playoffs and CC didn't. Hobbs would have put the Devils in the playoffs if healthy.
