Bedford vs. Central, part 2
Friday night at Hollidaysburg 7:00.
Can Bedford close the gap at all? Central won the first won 41-27.
Hoenstine with 3,193 yards and 53 touchdowns to just two interceptions.
In Hoenstine's first two playoff games 31-37 607 yards 9 touchdowns.
Just a ridiculously good season for him. One of the best I can think of for an individual player in District Six

Bedford definitely has a chance to hang with them, they really need to hold the ball offensively, don't get in a shootout. Central has been great and it will take a solid game plan and execution to win

Jeff's likely to pass Tobias with PA record for most td passes in season and also setting himself up for most career as well.
If only closed minds came with closed mouths

Re: Bedford vs. Central, part 2
Interesting note as he makes a run at the career record is the fact he threw 15 as a freshman while leading the team with 41 receptions. His sophomore season was a Covid shortened 6 game regular season schedule with his playoff run cut short by the broken leg in the district title game.
On that note, very surreal moment following this weekend D6 title game win when he walked out and took a knee in the exact spot on the Mansion Park turf where he was carted off last year almost exactly one year to the date. Kid worked his tail off to come back from multiple surgeries to repair the injury. Great to see and quite an emotional moment.

Has Central had to face any adversity at all this year? Ever played from behind?

I don’t believe they’ve trailed at any point all season.EnzoLigoniere wrote:Has Central had to face any adversity at all this year? Ever played from behind?

CR may have scored opening drive in the season opener but I could be wrong.DragonsDoExist wrote:I don’t believe they’ve trailed at any point all season.EnzoLigoniere wrote:Has Central had to face any adversity at all this year? Ever played from behind?

Re: Bedford vs. Central, part 2
Does Bedford have the players to play with Central? Do they have the coaching staff?

How about the bus drivers?
