Weber from Bedford signed with Lafayette. I also heard Whysong from ridge is getting big time D1 baseball looks. He will be pretty good in the LHAC next year.

From a reliable source, I have been told Whysong, from CR, has accepted a full scholarship to Wake Forest, to play baseball.

Congrats to him! A full ride baseball scholarship is unheard of. It’s extremely rare for a baseball player to get a full ride due to the limited number of scholarships they are allocated. But if he got one then obviously he earned it.

Not sure where he is going but it appears that Aaron Tutino will be transferring out of Loretto. Despite promises made , playing time has bee scarce. Super talented WR who is all time #2 in the state for receiving tds. Hopefully he finds a staff that takes advantage of his talent.

Is he dropping to D2? I really thought Daugherty would be getting more love at CalU. Both great receivers.

Receivers are a dime a dozen at the college level. Even D3.

If you really want to play, find a lousy team in a bad location with a high price tag and take your chances.

Rare if not near-impossible for a full ride from Wake. Congrats anyway, he'll be a teammate of Adam Cecere, at least for 1 season.

D-I baseball teams can receive 11.7 scholarships per team per year, which can be divided up among 27 players. So unless you're the next Willie Mays, you probably ain't gonna get a "full athletic scholarship for baseball'.
