Reality Check Bellwood

Post by Rumorman78 »

I was bored over the weekend and decided to check out some of the football schedules in the LHAC for 2023. The one that really caught my eye was Bellwood-Antis. They play Bald Eagle, Westmont, Tyrone, B.G , Central and Penn Cambria to name a few. They better put on their big boy pants, it will be interesting how they do against this tougher competition.

1st year or 2 I expect them to take some lumps. Then I think Bellwood will be ok. The fan base better be ready to handle it.

BA has many big games next year. Definitely a new challenge for the program.
Westmont Hilltop (9/1) and @Penn Cambria (10/13) are the two East-West Crossover games, plus Wk10 TBA.

FH Rangers not on the schedule, only potential match up is a result of a Week 10 Crossover.

Scrimmage- @ Clearfield
Home- WH, Central, BG, BEA, TBA
Away- PV, Huntingdon, Tyrone, PO, PC

Is week 10 for a championship game? Tyrone doesn't have a week 10 either.

Week 10 is West @ East Championship. 1W v. 1E and so forth down to 10W v. 10E.

Kind of like WestPac and Hertitage had been doing in the past on Week 10.

Major playoff implications for these games.

My bad. I mixed up the football schedule in my head with the girls' basketball schedule which has FH @ BA

I wouldn’t expect Central or PC to be much of their former selves this season and would pick Bellwood over both. I’m not sure PC was more than a 6 win team last year without Harold to be honest. BG will be a ? but do return a good many.
