PAT or 2 point conversion?

Post by 4 »

Being that we're all bleachercoaches what would you do in the situation Ridge had. Go for 2 or send the kicking unit out and hope to win in OT? I personally wouldv'e gone for 2, it seems like it was the right play call just poorly executed.

I feel like an Everett person now  , i just keep on repeating myself. I would have kicked. I dont care how many you have made or missed at that point in the game, i would still take my chances kicking the X-tra point.

In that situation I would have went for two. The call was a good one.

Hey it is a BIG risk....but so was the Xtra Pt considering the first two were no good. BUT...The ref helped out with one homer call right before the TD on 4th down, and they would have had a the homefield advantage in OT I think.

GREAT GAME THOUGH!

Ridge will be back next year, and they will be just as good in my opinion.

Does Ridge have many underclassmen coming back next year? I know Barefoot and Novak will be back but who else?

Easy to say from a team sittin outside the playoffs looking in. And yes i kno that bedford is now too but its better to make the playoffs and lose than to not make the playoffs and beat a team like Claysburg.

KICK THE X-TRA POINT :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

you have to kick the extra point here if your ridge...you just got a huge homer call...you are on your home field...you have the momentum going into overtime...if they kick the ball they win the game IMO...

it was one of the worst iv seen...barefoot lobbed one up into double coverage and both pburg players went up after the ball...i dont know if they even made contact with the receiver, and the ref threw the flag very, very late...
