USC and Okla.

The sick thing is Oklahoma lost by 28 tonight and they're still gonna make it.

USC and LSU should be the ones going to the championship, but as things will probably turn out, Oklahoma will go. USC and LSU both deserve to go since they both won their championships.

You have to look at the season as whole, you can't penalize OU for losing at the end of the year.

Well the results are in OK vs LSU... I cannot be convinced that USC didnt earn the right to be in the natl championship; however there is no way that LSU or OK dont deserve it either. If there isnt a playoff system next year there never will be. One funny thing tho is in both polls USC was #1 and LSU was #2, the BCS computers came out and said OK was 1, LSU 2 and USC 3. what??????!?!

Let's look at the big picture. OK lost one game, granted it was this week, but all things being equal they do deserve to go. USC and LSU need to play.

The one thing computers don't look at it is momentum...who is on the rise and who is on the fall. At the end of the season Michigan and Kansas State were two teams on the rise, Okie fell hard, and USC and LSU lost mid-season and hung in and one their conferences. Humans (Polls) look at momentum and that's why we have the #1 team USC not in the Championship game. For all the computers care, Okie could have lost the first game of the season, not the last...computers look at the big picture only.

I feel the top 4 should be playing in two semifinals based on the BCS around Jan. 1 and the two survivors play a week and a half to two weeks later for all the marbles. There will still be controversy surrounding who was 4th or 5th and got in or was left out but more inclusive the BCS can be the better. I think they also need to look at Conference Champions being automatically considered before conference runnersup. Where else could a team LOSE a playoff game and their next game be for the national crown???!!!
