I hear Johnstown has a nice team, haven’t seen them yet, but they have a soft non conference schedule. Tyrone seems descent but the other 3 aren’t going to make them better or simulate the playoffs.

Johnstown beat Richland 59-54 last night. The Tribune Democrat completely ignored the game.

Hollidaysburg is 7-0, BC is usually pretty tough, and BA is 4-1 I believe

Home team needs to call it in; where was the game?

It was at Johnstown. Where was the reporter?

Long story short...when the Shootout at the War Memorial was originally brought up we looked for 4 LHAC teams and 4 non LHAC teams. Tried to keep it in Cambria County....since its the CCWM. Couldn't find the 4th non LHAC team and Bishop McCort was brought on board. Thus the true crossover games couldn't occur. Its a 2 year schedule..so hopefully the next 2 years we can bring in 4 and 4. Very happy about adding the girls this year.
Also, if you buy your tickets at a school $5.00 gets you in all day. $6.00 at the gate. I remember last year the ticket prices were a concern for everyone. Enjoy and support the Shootout. The best way for a tourney to end is by not supporting it. Lets keep this one going.

Ah, so they must have forgot to call in the score or had trouble with their phones. If a reporter isn’t there, home team needs to call/email/fax it in.

There should have been a reporter at that game.

Small staff, it happens.

I’m sure Johnstown and Richland will get ample coverage the rest of the year.
