Thats where years ago, the schools stepped up and said if they didn't have a .500 record or better, then said school could not compete in playoffs. Individual school's decision, not D6 or PIAA. Too much common sense there. But that was before political correctness, and the 'every kid gets a trophy' mindset.

I think it was about 3-4 years ago a 2 win Cambria Heights team put a scare into a pretty good Central Cambria team for 3 quarters. That would have been something if that upset occurred.

Boys Basketball Playoffs Week One

Great game tonight in Tyrone. Dragons lead from beginning until 14 seconds to play when Tyrone takes the lead and ends it with 48-46 Eagle win. Great HS basketball game and these 2 should be clashing for years to come.

You’re right... sad part is Central , Tyrone and Hdon could all win multiple PIAA games and only 1 gets out. That sucks
