Richland vs. Ligonier

Post by Crimson's Ghost »

Pretty cool these two teams will meet for the third straight season in the District 6 AAA championship game. Not to mention, the teams have met in the past two D6 football titles as well. A lot of the same athletes going against each other for three straight years now.

2018: Ligonier 58, Richland 54
2019: Richland 68, Ligonier 64 (OT)
2020: ?

Predictions, thoughts...

Neither team has the big dudes inside that they did before. This game will be won by the guards, who has the hot hand from 3 land, and has fewer turnovers and fouls.
It ain't over until it's over.

You were right on about the hot hand from 3-land. LV was 3-26 on 3's. I didn't think Richland had enough offense to get this far this year, but here they are.

Burke and Marinchak are good guards but Burke had the better game. He impacted the game even when he wasn’t scoring.
