PIAA Boys State Playoffs
Re: PIAA Boys State Playoffs
District champs has nothing to do with it. The only teams in the state tournament are district champs. I'll bet most don't care much about the travel and are thankful that they get the opportunity to complete unlike last year.

Berlin just traveled to Bishop Canevin only to have them forfeit due to COVID.

Biggest win in portage history. On to play another (you guessed it) Catholic school.

Congrats to all local winners. Keep it up!
It ain't over until it's over.

Just asking here, someone may know. In these days of Covid protocols, HOW does a school get to 'ask' for a larger neutral venue, (Altoona Fieldhouse) and have it granted, and as part of a double-header, just like the old days, and every other school can't? 1-A Berlin gets to have 230 of its fans in attendance, while 3-A FH gets 60, and has to travel 120 miles? Good luck to the Mounties, BTW. Bring home the gold.DragonsDoExist wrote: ↑March 19th, 2021, 8:52 pm Berlin just traveled to Bishop Canevin only to have them forfeit due to COVID.

Same to you and we would certainly want you to be able to have the same with the fans. Berlin travels very well so we'll take anything we can get with the fans.Manfred wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2021, 9:36 amJust asking here, someone may know.
