If they can seed wrestlers for districts, regionals, and states every year, for multiple classifications, why can't they seed 32 teams for 6 classifications?

I am sure they have some excuse to cover their rear.

I think he's looking at Maxpreps. They do have them ranked as the #1 team in PA, with NA at #2.

The top team in the bracket gets to decide whether they want to host or find a neutral site, I think it's as simple as that for these playoffs under the circumstances. Berlin could have chose to host if they wanted.

I call BS to your post. HOW can the #1 team in the state, for the past month, regardless of class, NOT be the top team in the bracket over teams with 3, 4 losses? Punxsy was undefeated as well and had to travel to Mohawk (18-4).

Yea, not like record wise. Literally if you look at the bracket. Mohawk is listed above Forest Hills. That's all that means.

When have the brackets in any sport ever been set up by ranking? And then by whose ranking, Penn Live, Maxpreps, etc?

Would it look all that much different than it does now if they were to do that? The larger districts would always be given the benefit of the doubt, fair or not.

The bracket typically is set ahead of the season, and it was set ahead of these playoffs as well. If you google, "PIAA Basketball Championship information"
