2024 Boys state playoffs

I'm guessing because Chamebrsburg is good at basketball this year probably affected the availability of the gym. They are still alive in 6A boys and play on Wednesday. My guess is that the team is probably practicing Tuesday night and all of their volunteers will be at their game on Wednesday.

I'd say that's definitely the answer. There's not much out there close to the pike. Shippensburg wouldn't be bad.

As far as practices go, Chambersburg has more than one gym available for 'practices'. What would have been wrong with using Shippensburg College, or don't they make themselves available for any HS playoff games, like UPJ does?

I don’t know many varsity basketball teams the night before a state playoff game would give up their own gym just so they can appease two Single-A schools they don’t care about.

But yea, high schools and colleges have to be willing and able to host.

Just a side note 19/24 East teams remaining in the boys playoffs are private. 3/24 west teams are private. Granted that is considering Berlin as an eastern team due to bracketing. I’m sure there are others as well.
