So just saw a tweet about ridges consolation match and saw there one of there wrestlers give the acting job of a lifetime. Anyone see that? Supposedly that flop cost the other wrestler his post season.

Heard from some folks who were actually there who said the flop had nothing to do with the DQ. The Refs said, in the Refs own explanation, the DQ was called for the swearing and push from the other kid and was called regardless of the flop and it wasn’t part of their decision to DQ. Do I think the other kid should have been DQ’d, personally no…it was physical, hard , close match up to that point and things got heated. I don’t think the kid should have been DQ’d though.

Just going by the video if anything the two cross faces/punches should have gotten the ridge wrestler sat down for a match or two. Hard to blame the other wrestler for being pissed. However you have to try to control those emotions.

No surprise on who it involves, same kid who was ejected against Richland in football. My guess is it got heated because of the aggressive cross face, but the flop is hilarious.
