I heard UFC cut Cody law. Someone said he was back in town looking for side money doing privates. He would be a great candidate.
That has to be a job lots of folks are after.

For someone at Orchard as much as you are, your rumor source needs to do better.BisonLegend68 wrote: ↑June 13th, 2024, 12:28 am I heard UFC cut Cody law. Someone said he was back in town looking for side money doing privates. He would be a great candidate.

What isn’t true? Also the orchard is a great place for the latest gossip and drama

BisonLegend I think you are vastly overestimating the amount of people interested in HS coaching jobs. Even if Bassett or Deputy were to leave I don't think either school would get more than 5 serious applicants. Not many people beating down the door for $2,500 and dealing with parents these days. Please note the serious candidate part.

You are probably right. Plus a school whose cabinet is empty and been under some hot press with all the bullying stuff. Most won’t want to take that with a ten foot pole
Re: Fh wrestling job?
Cody Law was NOT cut by UFC. He was under contract to Bellator, not UFC, and while Bellator has been undergoing a downsizing, he was not one of the cuts. He is exploring options as they say.
It ain't over until it's over.

FH could be a great program with the right coach. Young Guns and the Compound is right down the road. They pick the right coach that ain't part time MMA fighter and isn't all in, they could get kids to states again. It ain't rocket science boys. Three months of practices and no club wrestling you're going to get same results as Jack Strauer got. They also need to get a coach that has experience with girls wrestling.

Haha. You mean those terrible results of like coaching multiple district championships, 5 state champs, and getting PIAA coach of the year awards? Those kind of same results as Jake Strayer?!?!? That would be just too bad. Also, your 3 months of practice comment is quite laughable. You have no clue what the people involved put into that. Sit down, you are making yourself look ridiculous.creedence wrote: ↑June 22nd, 2024, 10:07 pm FH could be a great program with the right coach. Young Guns and the Compound is right down the road. Strayer has done a great job over the years for only be a seasonal coach. Well is drying up and time to stop. FH’s program the next few years is going to be very bad. It will be like when their old coach was there, he is still around now. Can’t think of his name. I heard Law retired from the UFC to take over, very similar pay. Not sure this if true but who knows. This was a weak source, same person who told us Mall from Ridge applied too.
