It's finally here!

Well, well, well. Yes, Martha, there will be baseball played on the Rangers' newly-groomed field. Thanks to that little inconvenience called covid, all activities had been cancelled for months. But May 27, a new swath of sod was laid down as a transition between the artificial infield and the old (same old) outfield grass. Due to lack of rainfall but offset by frequent waterings with a water cannon, the field is now ready to play, and will host visiting Claysburg on Tuesday @ 6 PM. Money is still being raised for a new scoreboard, but that won't happen this year. Hopefully Smokey Myers will have his vocal skills up to par for calling play by play on the PA system!
