Red shirt Jr. He will have met his academic obligations, and is hoping for 'the call', but he hasn't had that great of a year since coming back from injury. He went 4-9 against George Mason in 2 games, with a HR and 3 singles, so hopefully he's getting his groove back as the playoffs progress. Haven't heard much about Paxton Kling either. Anyone?

Saw early in the year Kling was hitting over .400 at LSU with a couple dingers. Ended year hitting .287 with 4 hr, 9 rbi in 49 games played as true freshman.

There was a long stretch where he wasn't playing either. IDK if due to injury or just benched.

I thought Kling had an injury as well. Pretty impressive having to local kids playing at the absolute highest level though. Kling looks to be a legit MLB prospect when he becomes eligible. He was amazing to watch play in person when he was in HS. I caught some of their baseball playoff run, was just on a different level then everyone else.

Kling tore his hamstring mid season and has played sparingly since returning a couple weeks ago. Mainly as late inning pinch hitter/runner and defensive replacement. Tough to complain though with the talent on that LSU roster.
