Bedford a State Semi-Finalist

Post by Bedrock »

Bedford defeated Harbor Creek tonight 1-0 in the state quarterfinal matchup. They play Tuesday. I'm unsure of the location or their opponent at this time.

My take on the 3-1 loss to Lancaster Mennonite----take it for what it's worth from a guy who played soccer one time in gym class.

LM had tremendous speed. Bedford was fast in my opinion and this was the first time I saw a team that had more speed.
LM had great ball skills.
The first two goals were more attributed to Bedford mistakes than LM execution.
Two Bedford boys lost their cool at the end of the game and tainted a solid effort by reacting to LM chatter.
The finals will be an all D-3 affair.
There is no good way to get to chambersburg from our area.

Congrats to the boys on a great run.
