Usain Bolt has to be by far, the best sprinter in the LHAC.

Sprinters in the area seem to be weak this year. A few years ago we had Kanuch, Wadley, Bobby Glenn, was it Harris from Bedford?, Lewis from McCort, .........I know I'm missing a few others. Anyway these were legit sprinters would could make it to the finals at states if not the semi's

wadley and kanuch graduated together. lewis and harris graduated together. Glenn graduated last year and his best competition was his little brother (who returns this year), Reed, Laquinn (back this yr), Keller, and Osaben (back this year). So the talent level doesn't drop off much this year from last. However you're right, the year lewis was a senior was a hell of a year for d6 sprinters. McCort relay team was in state finals of 4x1 with lewis, A. wadley, Coleman, and lavella? And Kanuch won gold or silver in 4 different events as a junior at states. Don't really remember how Harris did since he's d5.

At the 2005 state championship meet, Troy Harris finished 3rd in the 300 meter hurdles, but didn't make it to the finals in the 110's. His time in the semi-finals (16.07) indicates something went drastically wrong. That same year, John Marshall from Bedford finished 3rd in the triple Jump, two places behind the winner, Brad Kanuch.

Bedford's 4 x 100 finished 6th, 3 spots behind 3rd place Bishop McCort.

It was a very good year for D6 and D5.
If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.

That it was Jolly Green, thanks for the info and didn't remember that Harris and Marshal did that good. Thinking back on it they were some stud athletes!

They were both great athletes but Kanuch was the best athlete of the group. He could do it all.
