Local Atheletes Fair Pretty Well At States

Did any of you see the double A 1600? That Havko kid put up the 7th best time in the nation (4:10.?) and beat the AAA time by 3 seconds. Spisak, from McCort, ran a good race taking it out and finishing at 4:16.86, but man did he run into a buzz saw. The kid then turned around and ran 1:52.78, 800 and almost finished with the best time of the day there also - 1:52.77 was AAA. A silver medal is still quite an accomplishment.

Congrats altoona on a 2nd and 3rd at nike nationals.Great job and super times, how about the 45.5 split for gehret in the 4x4! Now thats flying!
