windbersoccerstinks wrote:good meet yesterday, Windber boys were quite beat up, and lost to a strong berlin team, Next week weaver is back, and hopefully Burkett and soler will be okay for the relays. It will be very close for Westpac relays and the westpac championship between Berlin and Windber. Can't wait to see the match ups when both teams are at full strength
What was wrong with Burkett? i heard he has been having a little bit of a weak knee problem but other than that? He did fall in the 110s but it looked like he was over striding and lost his step. It must not have been too bad because he got back up and ran the 300s fine.

thats what we hope. it sucks that if one person on our team isnt up for a meet then our whole team is screwed..shows how much we depend on each other.

shouldn't have trouble in the 2 mile but the mile will be close. good news for Berlin Isaac Will was cleared today to run track. it's unsure how well he will run though. he's startin off with the mile and 800

This meet will be a blow out. Portage doesn't have the depth to stick with Berlin. Portage has good runners in certain events but nothing behind it and even in the events that they are good Berlin always has one better. The only place Portage will get good points is in the throws where Berlin is very weak.

actually the 2 mile is gonna be the closest of the 2..the kid from portage runs the exact same time as max in both events. you'll see. kids actually pretty decent. but ya should be a blowout

You've made excuse after excuse in your posts. You say burkett came late to school and the principal wouldnt let him run. So, basically your principal followed the attendance policy, right? Sounds like the kid left his team hanging. You say soler was hurt before the relay meet. Whatever, he was afraid to lose. You say soler has a scholarship offer from iup... no, he doesn't. You say roddy was hurt before cross country districts. No, he was ineligible because of bad grades. You say your coaches are idiots and don't know what they're doing... wow.

You should do a little less talking on here and more prep in the classroom and on the track. This windber team sounds like state champs according to you, but really they lie down before every big challenge.
