Congrats all locals! BTW, that Hershey course must be slow...I ran a 16:16 on the 5k autobahn/speedway known as Lehigh University's XC course my senior year and all that time got me was 24th in AA boys.

Of course, one of the top milers ever in the history of PA and future NCAA D1 All-American and sub-4:00 miler (Paul Vandegrift) and a marathoner (Keith Dowling) who twice finished 4th (2000 and 2004) in the US Olympic marathon trials, were in the AA boys race that year in arguably the deepest field ever in AA boys.

In today's tri meet with BG and BC, FH's Luke Gallaher set a new school record at 6-9 in high jump. I hope I'm not stealing the Trib's thunder in reporting this. Like they might sue me or something. I hope I got the "inch" reading right from my friend who was there.

He won D6 w/ a 6-7, and the state w/ a 6-6 because of fewer misses. He also tied the school 100M record yesterday @ 10.9, and won the long jump. In my next life, I wanna be just like him.
