Patton should be a favorite in the AA state meet 200m and 400m with a 21.hi and 49.xx. Tyrone's 4x4 should also make the final as well, if they can run 3:25ish on Friday. It will be a long two days for Patton though with possibly 3 rounds of the 200m (prelim Friday, semi Sat morning, and final later that day), and 2 rounds each of the 400m and 4x4. I am sure he did something similar last year, so he should be ready.

Running so many prelims over 2 days where EVERYONE is good is a different animal than Districts. The District 1 AAA meet simulates states. As a former coach in District 1, I always believed that the District 1 AAA meet was just as hard or even HARDER in some cases than states just to get thropugh 2 days of rounds and finals to PIAAs.

Good luck to all D6 participants in PIAAs next weekend, and good luck to the 6AAA participants today.

Yeah he got gold in 200 , silver in 400, and ran 1 relay, but not 2...may be stretching this year
