"Down goes Frazier!!"....Last years' silver medalist in the 400 (Patton) RAN a 50.93 and failed to qualify for the final, ouch.

Having watched Patton's race I have to say it didn't even look like he was trying too hard, I know he usually looks effort less when he runs, but this was something different than that... Saving himself for a showdown in the 200, maybe, but it just didn't look like he was firing on all cylinders today.

Gallaher and Leap finished 5th and 7th respectively in the long jump, Patton got 2nd in the 200 by 5 hundreths of a second to Coles from Clairton, and Tyrone's 4X100 relay got 6th

"Use the FORCE, Luke". That was an effective strategy as Luke Gallaher claimed his second consecutive PIAA high jump GOLD medal at 6'7". Congrats, Luke. Ranger nation is proud of your accomplishments. May you have as great success at PITT.

Does anyone know why Gallaher seemed agitated/upset during the competition. He had a couple misses and seemed upset with something...appeared to even yell at the HJ judges at some point during the competition.

He jumped well once he settled down and focused.

Anyone know what this was all about?

The local rag reported he had his tape marks for his takeoffs blow away, so he had to guess where to take off. I would guess that's it.
