Lack of respect for track!

Post by usatf oldguy »

I finally read the bedford gazette version of the the top ten sport stories of 2012. I was extremely disappointed in either the disrespect for track or the incredible bias towards wrestling. When track has four medals ,two silver and two fourth places and you can't get above the area leader in wins in wrestling and Bedford being top six in wrestling I think it is pretty bad. I have the utmost respect for wrestling but come on.

The best athletes in the world participate in basketball and track and field. The best in these sports have a combination of overall strength and stamina, explosive speed, durability, etc.
