XC State Championships

It was a good day for District 6 at the Cross Country State Championships today at Hershey.
In girls Class A, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy won gold with freshman Sera Mazza winning individual silver and senior Lucia Person placing 5th. Defending state champs Central Cambria took silver. It was the first state championship of any kind for Saint Joseph's.
In girls Class AAA State College placed 5th.
In boys Class A, Penns Valley placed 10th while Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy placed 13th.
In boys Class AA, Central Cambria placed 13th with senior Bryce Descavish winning individual gold.
In boys Class AAA, State College placed 9th.
